Leslie Croyder ’80 was Ohio Wesleyan’s No. 1 singles player on the women’s tennis team during her entire undergraduate career. She also lettered in track & field and basketball. As a freshman, she progressed to the semifinals in the Ohio Women’s Small College Tournament, leading the Bishops to an 11-4 season. Her sophomore year, she reached the semifinals of the Ohio Women’s Small College Tournament. As a junior, she was undefeated in all conference matches and won the No. 1 singles title at the Ohio Association of Intercollegiate Sports for Women (OAISW) state tennis tournament. She went on to the Midwest Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (MAIAW) tennis tournament, advancing to semifinals and helping Ohio Wesleyan to a seventh-place finish in the 16-team field. Her senior year, she was undefeated in regular-season play and helped Ohio Wesleyan to a second-place finish at the OAISW state tournament. In track, she scored in each of her 3 events as Ohio Wesleyan took third place in the Ohio Wesleyan University Invitational meet her sophomore year.
