Chris Culwell ’95 won All-America honors in the long jump to cap her Ohio Wesleyan career, finishing fourth at the NCAA Division III championship meet. She won the long jump and finished second in 100-meter dash at the North Coast Athletic Conference outdoor championship meet her senior year, helping Ohio Wesleyan win the conference title. She set a school record in the long jump, jumping 18-2¾. Indoors that year, she helped the 800 relay team to a second-place finish and placed fourth in the triple jump, fifth in the 55 and sixth in the 300 and the long jump as OWU finished second in the NCAC. As a junior, she was fourth in the long jump, seventh in the 100 and 200 and eighth in the triple jump and helped the 400 and 1600 relay teams to third-place finishes outdoors. Indoors, she was part of a record-setting 800 relay team and finished third in the long jump and fourth in the 55-meter dash as the Bishops won the NCAC title. Her sophomore year, she placed second in the long jump, fifth in the triple jump and sixth in the 55 indoors and was sixth in the long jump outdoors. As a freshman, she finished fifth in the long jump and the 55 as OWU placed second indoors. She was an 8-time all-conference performer.
