Christine Wright ’95 was named to the North Coast Athletic Conference’s All-Decade team as the best 55-meter dash performer of the conference’s first decade of competition. A 20-time all-conference performer, she specialized in sprint events. Her senior year, she won the 100 and 200 and anchored the first-place 400 relay team as the Bishops won the NCAC outdoor title. Indoors that year, she finished second in the 55 and 400 as OWU finished second. As a junior, she broke NCAC records in the 55 and 300, was a member of a record-setting 800 relay team and added a second in the 400 as OWU won the NCAC indoor title, then was second in the 200 and 400 as the Bishops placed fourth outdoors. Her sophomore year, she won the 55 in NCAC-record time as OWU finished third indoors. As a freshman, she won the 55 and was a member of first-place 880 and mile relay teams as OWU finished a close second indoors, then placed in the 200 and 400 as OWU finished second outdoors. She set NCAC records in the 55, 300 and 400 as well as the 800 relay. She also ran cross country her first 2 years at Ohio Wesleyan.
