Rob Fellinger ’95 was an All-America swimmer who helped Ohio Wesleyan to consecutive top-20 finishes at the NCAA Division III meet. As a freshman, he was third in the 200 IM and fourth in the 100 back at the North Coast Athletic Conference meet. At the NCAA Division III meet, he was part of an All-America 800 free relay team. His sophomore year, he won the 200 back and finished third in the 200 free at the NCAC meet. As a junior, he won the 200 IM, finished second in the 200 free and the 200 back as Ohio Wesleyan finished fourth at the NCAC meet. At the NCAA Division III meet, he won All-America honors with a sixth-place finish in the 200 back in a school-record 1:54.06 and was part of a relay team that won All-America honors by finishing fourth in the 800 free, then the best national finish by an OWU relay team. Ohio Wesleyan finished 13th in the national team standings. His senior year, he was named Male Swimmer of the Year at the NCAC meet after winning the 200 free and finishing second in the 200 IM and the 200 back as Ohio Wesleyan finished fourth. At the NCAA Division III meet, he won All-America honors with a fourth in the 200 IM in a school-record 1:54.19 and a seventh in the 200 back in a school-record 1:53.64. He was part of All-America relay teams in the 400 medley, 200 free and 800 free. Ohio Wesleyan finished eighth in the national team standings. During his career, he earned 3 All-America and 2 honorable mention All-America citations and swam on 5 All-America and 5 honorable mention All-America relay teams. He was a 9-time All-NCAC pick and a member of 8 All-NCAC relay teams.
