Dick Faul ’59 was an All-Ohio Athletic Conference performer in both basketball and track. His basketball senior season was one of the finest in school history, as he averaged 20.1 points and 12.3 rebounds to rank among the OAC’s top 5 in both categories and earn first-team All-OAC honors. He also recorded the second-highest single-game point total in school history with a 47-point effort against Hiram. Faul was named the team’s Most Valuable Player that season. In track, he finished third in the high jump at the OAC indoor meet and fifth in the event in the conference outdoor meet.
