A 3-time all-region and 4-time all-conference in basketball, Kelly Heil ’05 started every game of her collegiate career.  As a freshman, she averaged 17.1 points per game (fourth in the North Coast Athletic Conference), 5.9 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game.  Her 495 points was an OWU freshman record and ranked fourth on the all-time Bishop season list.  She was an first-team All-NCAC selection and was named NCAC Newcomer of the Year.  Ohio Wesleyan went 21-8, including a 13-3 league mark, won the NCAC tournament, and advanced to the sectional semifinals (final 16) of the NCAA Division III tournament.  Her sophomore year, she averaged 21.6 points (led NCAC), 5.5 rebounds (10th in NCAC), and 2.4 steals (eighth in NCAC).  She scored a career-high 38 points at Kenyon, tying for second place on the all-time Bishop single-game list, and her 604 points that season set an OWU record.  She was a first-team All-NCAC pick and was named NCAC Player of the Year, and was a first-team all-region selection by D3hoops.com.  As a junior, she again led the league in scoring (20.5 points/game) and added 9.0 rebounds per game (second in NCAC) and 2.6 steals per game (third in the NCAC).  She was a first-team all-conference and second-team all-region (D3hoops.com) pick.  Her senior year, she led the team and ranked second in the league in scoring with an average of 17.0 points per game, her average of 8.2 rebounds per game led the NCAC, and her 2.5 steals per game was third in the NCAC.  She was a first-team all-conference and second-team all-region (D3hoops.com) pick.  She set Ohio Wesleyan career records in field goals (761), field goal attempts (1745), 3-point field goals (179), 3-point field goal attempts (556), points (2112), and steals (254).  Her total of 789 rebounds ranked fifth on the OWU list, her 201 assists was 10th, and she had 4 of the top 11 highest single-game scoring performances at OWU.
