Frank Book ’74 served as an assistant coach in track & field for 18 years, and was the head coach of Ohio Wesleyan’s women’s soccer team for its first 3 seasons of varsity competition, improving from 0 wins to 5 wins to a .500 record in the team’s third year of varsity competition. He compiled an overall record of 11-21-5 during his 3 years as head coach. Book also served as men’s cross country coach in 1980 and 1989, when coach Marv Frye was on sabbatical, and was an assistant coach for the Bishop men’s soccer team in 1982-83. Book was a 4-year letterman in track & field who finished his Ohio Wesleyan career with an appearance at NCAA Division III championship meet.
