Eric DiMartino ’84 won 3 All-America citations as a linebacker in football. He won Kodak and Pizza Hut All-America honors as a senior, also earning the Ohio Athletic Conference’s Hank Critchfield Award as the league’s Defensive Player of the Year, after leading the Bishops with 82 solo tackles, 32 assists, 10 tackles for loss, and 2 interceptions. He was an honorable mention Pizza Hut All-America and first-team All-OAC selection as a junior, and an honorable mention All-OAC choice as a sophomore. He also lettered 4 years in baseball, starting at second base for most of his career. His senior year, he set or tied Bishop season records for runs batted in and total bases. He set the Ohio Wesleyan career record for RBI and finished his career ranked second on the lists for at-bats, runs scored, hits, and total bases.
