Craig Neal ’07 won All-America honors as a soccer midfielder.  As a freshman, he compiled 4 goals and an assist, including 2 game-winning goals.  Ohio Wesleyan went 17-4-1, won the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament, and advanced to the NCAA Division III tournament.  His sophomore year, he won a starting midfield spot and compiled 6 goals and 3 assists.  He won second-team All-NCAC and third-team All-Ohio recognition as Ohio Wesleyan went 16-2-2 and shared the NCAC championship.  As a junior, he played in 11 games, starting 9, with a goal and 2 assists as Ohio Wesleyan was 20-1-0, won the NCAC championship with a 9-0 record, won the NCAC tournament, and advanced to the NCAA Division III tournament.  His senior year, he led the team with 11 goals and 26 points, and his average of 1.18 points per game led the NCAC.  He headed home the game-winning goal against Chicago for OWU’s record-setting 30th straight regular-season win, and was named MVP of the Fred Myers Invitational.  He was a first-team All-NCAC pick, named NCAC Player of the Year, first-team All-Ohio, first-team all-region, and first-team All-America as Ohio Wesleyan went 15-1-6, won the NCAC championship, and advanced to the national semifinals of the NCAA Division III tournament.  During his 4 years, Ohio Wesleyan went 68-8-9 (.853) with 3 conference championships, 2 NCAC tournament championships, 3 NCAA appearances, and a national semifinal appearance.
