Catie Butt ’91 was a 3-time All-America honoree as member of swimming relay teams. As a senior, she helped the 400 freestyle relay team tie for sixth place at the NCAA Division III championship meet, the highest finish by an OWU relay team, and earned honorable mention All-America honors with a 14th-place finish in the 400 medley relay. She was part of school-record 200 freestyle and 200 and 400 medley relay teams at the NCAC meet, helping OWU to a fifth-place finish. As a junior, she won All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors with a third-place finish in the 400 freestyle, qualified for NCAA meet in that event and the 400 medley relay, and was part of the school-record 200 freestyle relay team that placed fourth in the NCAC. As a freshman, she was part of an honorable mention All-America 200 medley relay team.
