Amy Mazur ’06 was a 3-time all-region and 4-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection in softball. As a freshman, she batted .364, leading the team and ranking second in the NCAC, and ranked fourth in the NCAC in runs scored (25), slugging percentage (.481), and on-base percentage (.418). She was a first-team All-NCAC pick, was named NCAC Newcomer of the Year, and received third-team all-region honors. Her sophomore year, she batted .336 with 1 HR and 28 RBI. She set an OWU record with 5 RBI against Thiel. She led the league in assists (101) from her third base position and was a first-team All-NCAC selection and a second-team all-region pick. As a junior, she batted .378, ranking second on the team and fourth in NCAC, with 1 home run and 27 RBI, the latter ranking second on the team and third in the NCAC. She was a first-team All-NCAC selection. Her senior year, she batted .396, ranking second on the team and at the time the third-highest all-time at OWU. Her 6 HR ranked second on the team and second in the NCAC and her 40 RBI ranked second on the team and third in the NCAC. She had the first multiple-HR game by an OWU softball player since the team returned to varsity status, and set OWU single-game records with 6 RBI and 10 total bases. She was a second-team all-conference and first-team all-region pick. Her career batting average of .369 set an OWU record, as did her 114 RBI, and 187 hits. Her career totals of 507 at-bats, 121 runs, 37 doubles, 10 HR, 266 total bases all ranked second all-time, and her 6 triples was third all-time. During her 4 years, Ohio Wesleyan was 93-70 overall, won 2 NCAC championships, and reached the NCAC tournament all 4 years, finishing as runner-up 3 times.
