Michelle Corbett ’09 was a 2-time All-America selection as a soccer forward. She made an immediate impact as a freshman, leading the North Coast Athletic Conference with 21 goals, 45 points, and 8 game-winning goals. In the NCAC tournament, she scored twice, including the game-winner, in a 3-2 semifinal win at Kenyon, and in the championship game, she scored the game-winner with 5:29 left in regulation time for a 2-1 win at Denison that made Ohio Wesleyan the first team in NCAC history to win the NCAC tournament with 2 wins on the road. She was a first-team All-NCAC and All-Ohio selection and a third-team all-region pick. Her sophomore year, she finished with 8 goals and 17 points. She was a first-team All-NCAC, All-Ohio, and all-region selection and won second-team All-America honors. As a junior, she finished with 10 goals and 23 points, ranking fourth in the NCAC in both. She repeated as a first-team All-NCAC, All-Ohio, and all-region selection and was a third-team All-America pick. Her senior year, she finished with 8 goals and 19 points. She again repeated as a first-team All-NCAC, All-Ohio, and all-region selection. During her 4 years, Ohio Wesleyan went 41-22-13 (.625) with 1 NCAC tournament championship, 2 NCAC tournament appearances, and an NCAA appearance.
