Kevin Ramsier ’93 was an All-America offensive guard in football and a 3-year starter during perhaps the most successful 4-year period in OWU football history. He earned second-team GTE Academic All-America®, third-team AP Little All-America, honorable mention Football Gazette All-America, and first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors as a senior. The Bishops averaged 5.1 yards per rush as a team that year, rolling up 2831 yards on the ground and 4081 in total offense. He was an honorable mention All-America pick by Football Gazette and a first-team All-NCAC pick as a junior, helping pave the way as Ohio Wesleyan gained 2137 yards on the ground and 3579 total yards. He moved into the starting lineup as a sophomore and went on to win second-team all-league honors as the Bishops gained school-record figures of 3333 yards on the ground and 4095 total yards. He lettered as a freshman, helping the team to a share of the NCAC title, OWU’s first conference crown since 1971. Ohio Wesleyan went 33-6-1 during his 4 years.
