Clint Stevenson ’47 was a 3-year letterwinner in basketball and a 2-year letterman in football. He played 2 years before serving in World War II, then returned to campus and played during the 1946-47 season. In basketball, he led the team in scoring with 237 points during his junior year, and served as team captain during his senior year, when the Bishops won 18 games to tie the school record for victories in a season. In football, he was named team captain as a junior.
