Raymond Detrick coached basketball at Ohio Wesleyan from 1926-39 and baseball from 1935-39. His basketball teams won 5 Buckeye Conference championships, including back-to-back titles in 1928-29 and 1929-30, and 3 straight crowns from 1933-36. He compiled a record of 162-89 for a .645 winning percentage. He took over as baseball coach for the 1935 season and his 1936 team won the Buckeye championship.
