First baseman Drew Caravella ’02 is named the ABCA/Rawlings All-America Division III Player of the Year. Caravella becomes the first Ohio Wesleyan baseball player to earn Division III Player of the Year honors and the first Bishop baseball player to be a 3-time All-America pick. He set NCAC records with his .534 batting average and 89 RBI during the 2002 season. Caravella was drafted by the Detroit Tigers.
