Mary Parker founds the Centennial Athletic Conference, the first conference in the nation formed specifically for women’s teams. Denison, Muskingum, Oberlin, Ohio Northern, Wittenberg and Wooster join Ohio Wesleyan as charter members. Parker serves as the conference’s first president.
