Scott Tedder ’88 was Ohio Wesleyan’s first 2-sport, first-team All-American. He was named the NCAA Division III Basketball Player of the Year as a senior after leading the Bishops to the 1988 national championship, the first by an Ohio Wesleyan team. He finished his career as OWU’s all-time leading scorer with 2501 points, which ranked in top 20 in NCAA Division III career scoring. Also an All-American in baseball, he finished his career as OWU’s all-time batting average leader (.434) while leading the resurgence of the Bishop program into a national contender.
