Scott Gillanders ’91 was a prolific scorer for the men’s soccer team, earning first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference and All-Mideast honors 3 times. As a senior, he ranked third on the team and eighth in the NCAC in scoring with 14 goals and 15 assists for 43 points. He assisted on Ohio Wesleyan’s goal in the national championship game vs. Glassboro State that year. He was a third-team All-America pick as a junior after receiving first-team all-region and All-NCAC citations. He ranked second in the NCAC in scoring with 16 goals and 11 assists for 43 points. He ranked second in the NCAC in scoring as a sophomore, totaling 15 goals and 13 assists for 43 points on the way to first-team all-region and All-NCAC laurels. Gillanders finished his career with 47goals (third on Bishop list), 41 assists (first) and 135 points (second).
