Leslie Stauffer, class of 1910, was one of the greatest athletes of the early years of organized athletics at Ohio Wesleyan. He was a letter winner in football, basketball, baseball, and track. On the football field he was a quarterback, on the basketball court he was captain and a forward. On the baseball squad he played shortstop and had a .435 batting average. Lastly, Stauffer was captain and a dashman for the track team.
