Lee Abernethy ’61 was a 2-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference pick as an offensive lineman after transferring to Ohio Wesleyan. As a junior, he was a first-team All-OAC selection as a defensive tackle in helping the Bishops compile a 7-1-1 record. His senior year, he was a second-team All-OAC pick at tackle as Ohio Wesleyan went 7-2-0. Also a 3-year letterman in lacrosse, he capped his career by earning second-team All-Midwest Lacrosse Association honors after helping the Bishops team improve to a 7-3-0 finish after back-to-back 3-7-0 and 3-7-1 campaigns his sophomore and junior years.
