Kristin Griffin ’96 was an All-America selection in soccer. She made an immediate impact as a freshman, scoring 4 game-winning goals and finishing with 15 goals and 3 assists to rank third in the North Coast Athletic Conference in scoring. As a sophomore, she again led the Bishops in scoring, finishing with 12 goals and 6 assists to rank fifth in the NCAC. She was a second-team All-NCAC and All-Ohio pick and a third-team all-region choice. She moved to midfield as a junior and finished second on the team with 8 goals and 1 assist, receiving first-team All-NCAC honors. Her senior year, she again ranked second on the team in scoring with 8 goals and 2 assists, ranking ninth in the NCAC in scoring, and was a first-team All-NCAC, All-Ohio and all-region choice and went on to take third-team All-America honors. Ohio Wesleyan won the NCAC championship with a 7-1 record and was 11-5-2 overall. Her 43 career goals ranked third on the OWU career list, while her 98 points was fourth on the Bishop career list.
