Justin Blackburn ’06 won All-America honors in the 55-meter hurdles, finishing fourth at the NCAA Division III indoor championship meet.  His freshman year, he won all-conference honors in the indoor 55-meter hurdles and the long jump and the outdoor long jump.  As a sophomore, he improved to second in the 55-meter hurdles and the 55-meter dash indoors and second in the long jump and 110-meter hurdles at the North Coast Athletic Conference outdoor meet.  His junior year, he won the 55-meter hurdles in an NCAA provisional qualifying time, then won the 110-meter hurdles at the NCAC outdoor meet.  As a senior, he won the 55-meter hurdles and the long jump and placed second in the 55-meter dash (by 1/100 of a second) at the NCAC indoor meet, and was named Most Outstanding Sprints/Hurdles Performer.  He qualified for the NCAA championship meet and placed fourth in the 55-meter hurdles in :07.69 to take All-America honors.  Outdoors, he won the 110-meter hurdles at the All-Ohio meet, then won the decathlon, the long jump, and the 110-meter hurdles and helped the 400-meter relay team to a second-place finish at the NCAC meet, and was named Most Outstanding Field Events Performer.  During his career, he was a 7-time NCAC champion and a 15-time All-NCAC selection, with one of those coming as a member of a relay team.  He also lettered twice in football.
