Julie Jordan ’80 was a two-time state champion in women’s tennis. As a senior, she won the No. 2 singles flight at the Ohio Association of Intercollegiate Sports for Women tournament and advanced to the second round at No. 3 doubles. At the Midwest Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women regional tournament in Wisconsin, she lost in the second round as Ohio Wesleyan finished seventh of 16 teams. Her junior year, she won the No. 2 singles flight at the OAISW tournament and finished as runner-up at No. 2 singles in the MAIAW regional tournament. Her sophomore year, the Bishops were 6-6 overall. As a freshman, she won 2 matches at No. 3 singles to reach the semis of the Ohio College Women’s Tennis Tournament, helping the Bishops place fifth in the 26-team field behind Ohio State, Bowling Green, Denison and Miami. During her four years, Ohio Wesleyan was 31-14.
