Jason Fogelson ’01, a 2-time All-America attacker in men’s lacrosse, twice led the NCAC in scoring. He opened his freshman season as a starting attacker and finished with 10 goals and 7 assists. He moved to midfield as a sophomore and won a starting spot, compiling 16 goals and 29 assists, the latter ranking second in the NCAC. He was a second-team All-NCAC selection that season as Ohio Wesleyan went 14-2, with a 4-1 conference slate. As a junior, he returned to attack and led the NCAC in scoring with a conference-record 100 points (62 goals, 38 assists) that ranked second on the OWU all-time season list. He was a first-team All-NCAC and second-team All-America pick after the Bishops went 14-4 and were part of a 3-way tie for the conference title. As a senior, he finished with 43 goals and 36 assists, and his average of 6.08 points per game led the NCAC. He repeated as a first-team All-NCAC and second-team All-America pick and was named NCAC Player of the Year after leading Bishops to a 9-4 record, including a 5-0 NCAC mark and the conference title, and was a North-South All-Star game selection.
