Ian Miller ’99 was a 2-time All-America golfer after transferring to Ohio Wesleyan. His junior year, he moved into the Bishop lineup and tied for third place at the NCAC tournament with a 152, taking first-team all-conference honors, and led OWU at the NCAA Division III tournament, shooting a second-round 70 (tying for the low round that day), and finishing with a 296 to tie for 21st place overall as Bishops placed 19th in team standings. As a senior, he carded a third-round 67 at Penn State that tied a school record, becoming the first OWU player since 1959 to card a 67, on the way to a 12th-place tie in the individual standings. He finished fourth among individuals at NCAA Division III tournament, earning first-team All-America honors.
