Gordon Kraft ’31 was a great lineman, tackle, and kicker for the Bishop football team. During the 1929 season, he played guard and also kicked for the Bishops. His season highlight came when he went 5-for-5 in kicking during the Denison game. During the 1930 season, Kraft shifted between tackle and gaurd, and kicked off and booted PATs and field goals. He hit game-deciding field goals that year against both Dayton and Miami. Kraft was an All-Buckeye selection in 1930, was named honorary captain his last game, and was selected by his teammates as the Most Valuable player.
