Chuck Buttermore ’49 earned 4 letters in basketball and 3 in baseball. He was named honorable mention All-Ohio in his freshman season, and was placed on the All-Ohio basketball team his last 3 years. He was a steady baseball player for 3 years. Buttermore served as captain of the basketball team in 1948 and won the Bun Trophy as its Most Valuable Player.
