Carrie Kraly ’97 was the first Ohio Wesleyan volleyball player to receive all-region honors. A 4-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection, she led the team in kills as a freshman and was an honorable mention All-NCAC pick. Her sophomore year, she moved up to second-team All-NCAC honors after leading the team and ranking fourth in the NCAC in kills. The Bishops won the NCAC tournament to take the conference championship, Ohio Wesleyan’s first in volleyball. As a junior, she led the NCAC in digs, and ranked fourth in the conference in kills on the way to first-team All-NCAC honors. Her senior year, she ranked fourth in the NCAC in digs and led the team in kills with a school-record 457. She was picked MVP of the NCAC tournament as Ohio Wesleyan won its second conference crown in 3 years. She was a first-team All-NCAC and all-region selection and was named NCAC Player of the Year.
