Jim Fine ’64 was a 3-time first-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection in baseball. A centerfielder, during each of his last 3 seasons he ranked second on the team in batting and led the Bishops in stolen bases. He set Ohio Wesleyan career records for at-bats, hits, and stolen bases. Also a 3-year letterman in basketball, he averaged 8.3 points per game, led the team with a .519 field goal percentage, and was named Most Improved Player his senior year, and was a member of the Bishops’ OAC championship team as a sophomore.
