Bob Sargent ’76 was a 3-time All-America selection in lacrosse. He was a first-team All-America pick in 1976 while earning second-team honors in 1975 and honorable mention in 1974. Sargent was named the 1976 College Division Midfielder of the Year, the first Ohio Wesleyan player to receive national Player of the Year honors. Sargent also played in the North-South All-Star game, and scored 58 goals and had 21 assists in leading 4 Bishop teams to a 41-14 record and Ohio Wesleyan’s first 2 berths in the NCAA playoffs.
